Dear Yasser,

Regarding the meeting we had yesterday, I gave you the impression that I don’t have much work. I am sorry to tell you that as there are no corporate staffs working here I have to manage the corporate side. Though there is no specific work assigned to me from the corporate side I have to deal with issues as they arise. As this is the end of the year, I have to try and collect the payments from the customers who owe us and have been pending for a long time. Yesterday I received a mail from Gulnaz reminding me of these payments.

Today I have visited TV Maldives and British Redcross and Think Associates. I still have to go to American Redcross and the government offices regarding the pending payments. Therefore, it is becoming difficult for me to go and work at customer care. It is not easy to get appointments from these organizations as the relavant people are busy when I get free and as soon as they give me a call, I have to be able to take the appointment.

The impression I got yesterday was, my priority will be to handle the issues in hand at the sales and then if I am free to attend customer care. However, Ruchir called me and asked me to report him what I did today and then to be at hulhumale by three. Unfortunately I received a call from British Redcross that they want me to collect the applications at 4:30pm today.

As of today do I have to report to Ruchir?

Ruchir called me and asked me to send a report of what I did today. I am sorry that I am confused very much at the moment.

Please advice me on this.

Thank you,

Mohamed Affan Moosa

No confusion at all, what I said is very clear..

You come to Hulhumale' to work with corporate team from 8:30 morning and if you got anything to do you take approval from me before you move.

The same stories I heard from you before about collecting payments and this is something you can do even if you come to Hulhumale

NO Excuses.;

So, you come to office today and you report everything to me and Ruchir.

Yasser

Regarding the below mail I received from you, I regret to inform you I am tending my resignation as of today. The reason for tending my resignation is that you, Mr. Yasser as the CEO has come with numerous pretexts to hinder the development of my work done conducively at Wataniya, a company I am very enthusiastic to work. Your inconsistency as the CEO appalls my thinking as you send terse messages in the middle of the night to attend an urgent meeting. Such is your unprofessional attitude to deal with your subordinates and I am not going to put up with such unethical behavior from you or anybody else. Hence, I shall not be reporting to my desk from tomorrow onwards.

Yours in contest

Mohamed Affan Moosa

"Accepted with pleasure" shows how unprofessional the CEO is and it proves that things will only get worse since the CEO himself is not even bothered to look into the matter. He is showing an attitude of being superior and is quite keen to pass the messege of how worthless the staff was for the company. With an attitude like that your company will be just like another badly screwed up place. But interestingly Maldivians tolerate almost everything like this, all they do is bitch about the problems within themselves and doesnt have the guts to come out and say out loud whats bothering them, few people like the guy who quite are out there. Atleast i am proud of him.

did he say accepted with pleasure!

you know it's much complex than it seems... answer these questions!!!

1. is he an arab?
2. does he try to be feindly with you?
3. does he touch u?

well my friend he meant is he accepted it through his rear and it was very pleasurable for him. he's gay a guy can be.

i've even heard that guys in wataniya are facing sexual harasment from this guy. Does being a ceo or a superior have the right to molest guys...

Most of us Maldivians have become slaves in a our own soil! It is not just Wataniya, but it is happening everywhere, offices, resorts,...Foreigners are taking over slowly with their power politics and unless we stand to ourselves we'll end up as slaves (if u r not already). Also, mind you our Government haven't bothered putting up a labor law to protect workers. I'd say this affan guy is a brave fella and Yassir, go build ur stupid pyramids in Egypt!
