Dear All, my sincere request.
NEVER CLEAN DIRTY LINEN IN PUBLIC! It is going to hit you back in some way. Also, kindly note that somebody will misuse it against you, politically, personally and otherwise.
I am an expat working in the Maldives for the past 14 years and have greatest of respect for my fellow Maldivian colleagues and friends.
Even though your blog started off with the right spirit of highlighting and sorting out the problems within your organisation, I believe it has really lost its focus and will be MISUSED BADLY and each of the people involved will in some way get affected. IT IS REALLY NOT WORTH IT!!
I believe you have achieved your objective and If I were you, I would send a formal message to the management of Wataniya telling them that you are being magnanimous to stop the blog right now, but PLEASE CORRECT THE FAULTS and PROBLEMS immediately within Wataniya. If nothing changes, we will start the Blog again. This will be a Wake up call for the management of Wataniya , who has invested so much of money to be in the Maldives. Frankly, Wataniya being here in the Maldives is very healthy for each and every Maldivian as thanks to competition, Dhiraagu has reduced their pricing by over 80% , which is quite unbelievable!! Can you imagine the profits Dhiraagu used to make earlier! So, PLEASE DO NOT DESTROY THIS PROCESS.
The above is a TOTALLY UNBIASED PLEA FROM AN OUTSIDER WHO APPRECIATES BOTH THE SIDES OF THE PICTURE!!
